P-51C "TUSKEGEE Airmen" makes dozens of visits to many different events during each year. Many times these visits are as part of the Red Tail Project's Education mission. Occasionally it is to perform in an airshow.

During these events "TUSKEGEE Airmen" often has a profound impact on peoples lives. Whether it is bringing back memories of a former Tuskegee Airmen or a former Army Air Force crewmember who remembers being escorted to their target by a Red Tail Mustang. Perhaps it is educating a young person about these heroes from American history and the opportunities they opened to others.

On these pages are stories of some of these events and how "TUSKEGEE Airmen" affected peoples lives through it's appearances at those events.

In the "Previous articles" section you will find a great article by John Adelmann, a high school teacher in Dubuque, Iowa, about introducing the Tuskegee Airmen and the Red Tail project to his class and how they responded.

You will also find some of the Red Tail Journals in this section. The Red Tail Journal was the newsletter used to communicate with the supporters of the project during the years of restoration.
