The Red Tail Project
Board has set an ambitious goal of raising $2.0 million dollars
to expand the Education program and to also rebuild the P-51C,
the symbol of the program. As of November 1, 2004 we have raised
$125,000 towards this goal.
Donations to the Red Tail Project are tax-deductible contributions
to the Red Tail Project of the American Airpower Heritage Foundation,
Inc. , a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization. All
funds raised for the project are dedicated to be used only for
the educational outreach program of the project and the maintenance
and operation of the P-51C aircraft.

Sponsorship is a modern version of the war bond drives that
supported the war effort in WW II. This is a call to arms to

keep this national treasure in the air.
