Donors,
Contributors to and Sponsors of the Red Tail Project
One of the greatest aspects of this project is how wide
the support is for it has been. Most of the work has
been made possible through the generous contributions
of individuals. The list of donors includes original
WWII Tuskegee Airmen combat pilots; to Air Force Generals;
to the State of Minnesota; to the guy down the street.
The efforts of volunteers have also brought to life
many special events. For example, there have been several
art shows in California where half of the proceeds were
presented to the Red Tail Project. A pilot donated all
of the revenue he raised selling rides in a T-6 Texan,
the type of aircraft the Tuskegee Airmen trained in.
